I offer specialised assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions, as well as menopause care.
All treatment pathways begin with an initial assessment consultation. The consultation can take place either in person at the clinic in Odder or online.
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition characterised by difficulties with attention and inner restlessness. ADD is the variant without hyperactivity. Many people recognise themselves in the description — if you are unsure, an assessment can help clarify whether ADHD may be relevant.
Initiating medical treatment requires a specialist in psychiatry. Your GP can generally take over the treatment once you have been stable on the same dose for 3 months.
If you already have an ADHD diagnosis and are seeking treatment, you are expected to bring documentation of your assessment — this serves as the evidential basis for your diagnosis.
Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition in which the brain works differently — not deficiently. It affects communication, social interaction and sensory processing in ways that vary greatly from person to person.
It can be difficult to distinguish between stress, anxiety and depression — I will guide you through that assessment. In some cases, a full assessment may require an additional consultation.
I do not offer psychotherapy.
Do you suspect you may be in perimenopause or menopause — or are you unsure? The hormone consultation clarifies your symptoms and initiates treatment where needed. You will complete symptom questionnaires before the appointment.
